2 cups Moong Dal
1/2 cup Water
20 tbsp Ghee
2 cups Water
2 cups Milk
3 cups Water
1 1/2 cup Sugar
1 tsp Green Cardamom powder
Almonds flakes for garnishing
Pistachios for garnishing
Whipped Cream for topping
Method of preparation:
Grind the moong dal into a fine paste.
Heat ghee, add the ground moong dal and saute it till it becomes nice and lumpy.
Add water, milk to the moong dal and keep stirring.
Add sugar, cook it till the halwa is ready and stir it occasionally.
Let the halwa cool down, add green cardamom powder and mix well.
Take the halwa out in a cocktail glass, top it with whipped cream, decorate it with rose petals, almond flakes and pistachios.
Our Moong Dal Halwa with a Twist is ready.
