Umm Ali Recipe in English:

3 cups Milk
4 tbsp Sugar
1 cup Khoya
1 tbsp Cardamom powder
1 cup Cream
3 tbsp Rose water
Puff pastry as required
Coconut crushed as required
Almonds chopped as required
Pistachio chopped as required
Raisins as required
Sugar as required

In a pan boil milk and sugar, khoya, cardamom powder and cook for 10 to 15 minutes.
Turn off the flame and add cream. Give it a good whisk and set aside.
Preheat the oven at 200 degree. Cut puff pastry into four squares of equal sizes.
Place the puff pastry squares flat on a greased baking tray. Bake ar 200°C for 15-18 minutes.
In a dish place baked puff pastry square and sprinkle half of coconut, sugar, pistachio, almond, raisins evenly on top.
Layer it again with baked puff pastry squares and sprinkle the rest of coconut, sugar, pistachio, almond and raisins on it.
Pour milk mixture on top and bake at 180°C for 10 to 12 minutes then turn on the broiler for 2 minutes and let the top get brown.
Garnish with chopped almonds, pistachio and coconut. Can be served hot or cold.

Cooking time: 30 minutes
Serving: 6
